Oh Crap Momement

My brother broke his Straight Talk cell phone, so he decided to give it to Allison to play with. She likes pretending to talk on the phone and acts like she is texting someone.

So I was making her a snack and she was pretending to talk to my friend Melissa or how Allison says it Lissa. Then I hear

911 WHATS YOUR EMERGENCY?

Holy Crap!!!! Again I hear

911 WHATS YOUR EMERGENCY?

I grab that phone and tell the operator that my 3 year old was playing with a old cell phone. Ma’am is there an emergency he asks. No my 3 year old was playing with a old cell phone, I am sorry.

Ma’am please don’t let your daughter play with cell phones.

I learned that  even though a pre paid phone is not activated and the sim card is out it will still call 911.

I took the battery out she she could still play with it and not call 911 anymore.

She was upset she couldn’t hear the phone beeping anymore.

Talk To Us Tuesday-Crazy Weather

jan28 2012 001

It’s time for  Talk To Us Tuesday hosted by the fabulous   IA and Shawn!

We have been having some crazy weather here. There have been a few days where the snow is coming down hard in the morning and by the afternoon it’s all gone and nice and sunny. Or one day it could be snowing hard then the next day we are under a flood warning and it’s raining. I’m not complaining, I am loving the mild winter we have been having.
Saturday morning we woke to the snow coming down hard, it sure does make the tree look beautiful.
Which made Allison want to go out and play. The wind was crazy cold that day so I made sure she was bundled up.
Then she told me she wanted to ride the boat. I giggled cause I knew she meant the sled.
Ryan wanted to come out and play but I told him he had to wear his heavy coat, which he did not want to do so he sat in the house. Silly man wanted to come out in a light jacket….no way jose!
Happy Tuesday
P.S I’m having a giveaway ;)

Identity theft can take many forms and devastate your life in variety of different ways. IdentityHawk offers a comprehensive identity theft solution for those looking for identity theft protection.  Identity theft happens when someone gets a hold of your personal information. The victims of identity theft can have their money from their checking or savings account transferred without their knowledge. Victims can also have their social security number illegally used.  Identity theft is a very serious crime that can take thousands of dollars and many hours to fix. Statistics show that people in the age group of 18-24 are at the highest risk of having their identity stolen.

If a thief gets a hold of your social security number they can gain access to your most valuable personal information like your bank and credit card accounts, your PIN numbers and even your medical records. IA Asked, I Answered

It’s time for that no rules link up Talk To Us Tuesday with IA and Shawn.

Yesterday IA was tagged and had to answer some questions and ask some questions so I thought I would answer those questions.

1. What’s your most embarrassing moment?

My most embarrassing moment would have to be the time I had a made in China sticker on my butt when I went to my Dr. for my yearly pap. So I am laying there, legs spread open in the stirrups and she started giggling. She told me I was made in China and ripped off that little sticker. Talk about wanting to die of embarrassment.

2. Why do you live in your current city?

It is the city I was born and raised in. I always wanted to stay because of my family but really would love to move away because our school system S.U.C.K.S ! Ryan loves the online school he goes to but Allison is going to be the one that will love being in a traditional school surrounded by kids. And I will not send her to our city school. If we are still in this craptastic town when she starts school, she will go to one of the charter schools until we move.

3. Did you/Will you have sex on your wedding night?

I sure did!

4. What is one household appliance you can’t live without?

I wish I could say my dishwasher but since I am my dishwasher I can’t. Our house doesn’t have one and I don’t think our landlord will let us put one in. So I guess I will have to say my vacuum cleaner. I get really anal when the carpet is dirty. I can’t stand crap on the floor.

5. It’s your birthday dinner and you can order whatever you want. What is it?

Well I will be at Johnny Biggs and I will order The Smokehouse burger with the bbq sauce on the side, loaded fries with a side of ranch and sweet tea! I am so drooling thinking about that.

6. Have you ever enjoyed a Captain and Diet Coke?

Sorry IA, I am a vodka/OJ or vodka/cranberry juice kinda gal. I have never had any Captain.

7. I should give up ______but I just can’t do it yet.

Smoking! I want to for my health BUT I really enjoy it. So I am just not ready. As IA would say, Don’t judge me!

8. Approximately how many pairs of shoes do you own?

I actually don’t own a whole lot. Let me think…….. maybe 6 or 7??

9. Have you ever sucked a toe?

Never!!!!

10. Do you have a secret talent?

I sing beautifully in the shower. Ok I sing kinda ok in the shower.

11. Are you really answering these silly questions?

I sure did!

Physical Education

gym-class-escape

A lot of you know that my 12 year old son goes to a online school. They just started quarter 3 on Wednesday boy I can’t believe the school year is half over. But anyway. When he first started I seen on his schedule he had physical education class this year in the 3rd quarter.  I wondered how in the world are they going to have phys ed in a online school.

And so far he is liking that class. He does have to do a half hour of physical activity every day and write down what he did. Which is cool because now I have a workout partner.  It made my day when he told me last night he likes working out with me! So both of us have been doing some workouts that I recorded on fit tv. I think he liked the step video the best. I want to find some more workout videos that he will really like.

I just wish they had this class scheduled during the 4th quarter when it is somewhat nicer out. We can go outside for walks or go bike riding.

So maybe by summer me and Ryan will be a lot healthier!
