Wordless Wednesday–Bowling

Yesterday Ryan went on his first field trip with his school, ECOT! This online school is pretty great at having field trips so the kids can get out away from the computer and socialize. I knew the socializing would be hard for Ryan with his Aspergers but he did have a great time.

All the kids received ECOT bowls shirts. He was happy his daddy took a vacation day to go with him.

His first roll was a STRIKE!!! I was so happy! All the kids on his team was giving him high 5′s while he made his way back to his seat.

There was two other kids from his class on his team. He really didn’t talk to them. None of his current teachers was there yesterday, it would have been great to meet them in person. But his DEC teacher from last year, which I adore, was there yesterday. She was so happy so see some of her old students.  I wish I could have got a picture of Ryan and her but I know Ryan seriously hates his pictures being taken.

Bicycle Man

You know it’s getting warm when you see the bicycle man in my neighborhood. He rides one of those 3 wheeled bicycles around the neighborhood.

But his is not that nice. His looks like he built it himself. But instead of having a basket on the back of his he has a big boom box strapped on.

And he plays his music really, really loud. You can hear him coming when he is like 3 streets down from my house. And he usually plays really dark rock music.

I was outside on my porch last night, having one of my nasty habits and I hear the music. But it’s not his normal music.

I hear “Now just throw your hands in the air…..Snoop Doggy, Do-owww-ohhhh-oggg”

And I start waving my hands in the air and dancing on my porch!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day my lovelies.

Last week MiMi inspired me to do a Valentine Day craft of Yarn covered letters. This is my first time doing a craft in a long time so don’t laugh, ok?

I was so excited when I won Myya’s valentine giveaway. It was two of the cutest Valentine Day towels and spatulas.

When I opened the package Allison thought the items was for her.  I had to argue with her over the towels lol

Allison has her own idea’s on what to do with the cute v-day towels

She made a skirt and wiggling her butt at me saying na na na a boo boo I won!

Over the weekend hubby kept asking me what I want for V-day. I had no freaking clue!! He asked me if I want jewelry. No thank you babe, I’m not that into jewelry….

Wait….What Did She Say…..

You read right, I really am not a jewelry kinda gal. I wear my wedding ring and that’s it. Sometimes I might wear a necklace but that does not happen to often.

So I thought and thought and told him I wanted one of these Libman mops.

I was totally serious too! He said no household supplies. But babe, I’m always cleaning. Keep thinking he says.

Not much I want….sad huh?

But I got something better than that mop.

I got the Shark steam mop!!! Way better than that Libman :)

I LOVE IT!

My handsome big guy Ryan woke up this morning and asked if he had school today because its Valentines Day.

Hahaha yes son you do have school.

What a nice weekend

I had a nice, relaxing weekend with my family. Just sitting around watching tons of movies on TV. I actually got hubby to watch some Lifetime movies with me. He normally doesn’t watch Lifetime movies, because they are “chick flicks”  The two we watched was about 2 douchy men with the last name Peterson.

I think Rob Lowe did a great job portraying this assbag. The real Drew also watched this movie over the weekend too and I guess he thought it was hysterical. If I can say 1 thing to this ass is “Your not  untouchable, douchebag”

Another movie I watched was The Green Hornet with Ryan. We both LOVED that movie. I kept saying how bad ass that car was.

Plus I loved Seth Rogan as the green hornet.

And with Allison, we watched Tangled for the 200th time. She LOVES this movie. And I have to admit, I don’t think I could get sick of it either.

Wake Up Call

On Wednesday I had a Dr. about and it was a wake up call for me.

I need to change my lifestyle and eat better.

I need to be around for my husband and kids.

I had to go in for labs last week to have my thyroid checked out. I have been on thyroid pills a very long time. And

stupid me stopped taking them for about a year. Which was not a very smart decision.  That took me on a trip to the ER

because I thought I was having a heart attack.  Lesson: Never Stop Taking Thyroid Pills…EVER

So Wednesdays appointed was to hear the results of my labs.

Thyroid was great!

Sugar…..well lets say I am on the verge of diabetes.

Cholesterol…..Really high

My weight…my Dr was NOT happy about that

and the kicker

I might have to have surgery! They took more blood just to check my parathyroid.

I have way to much calcium in my blood. Which is not good.

So now I am waiting to hear the results of that test. And to see if I need to go to a ENT so they can see

which parathyroid is the problem and have it removed.

So I came home and researched the parathyroid and they even had a video of the actually surgery.

It only took 13 minutes for that surgery. But the thought of having my throat cut…freaks me out a lot.

Yesterday was a good day. I did not eat any sweets. I did not have a latte which was very hard.

I did not drink any pop/soda. But I do have a new best friend.

I drank nothing but water yesterday with MiO in it and it was so freaking good! I have the fruit punch and YUM!

My Dr. told me to try it, it has no calories, no sugar, no bad stuff.
