The Question Mark??

061F

I LOVE my husband and all the crazy stuff he does. Sometimes he does the craziest things that will get me laughing so hard I sound like Barney Rubble (yes when I laugh hard I sound like Barney) or snorting.

So last week he told me he needed to go shave. I got him a iTrim to keep his goatee trimmed up. He came out of the bathroom and was laughing. I ask what is so funny and he pointed to his chest. I look  at his chest and there appears to be a C on his chest. So I ask why in the hell he shaved a C on his chest. He giggled and said its a question mark and traced his finger around it.

I FREAKING LOST IT!!!!!!!!

After I calmed down I asked him if he was looking in the mirror when he did this.

Yes he says.

Do you realize that question mark is BACKWARDS I ask!

*A confused look* and a HUH?

Honey when you do something while looking in the mirror, it will be backwards!!!!!

Well it looked right when I did it!

Again, I LOST IT!!!

Love you Brian :)

The Pre School Screening

may7 018

Friday I took Allison to pre school screening.  Being as shy as she is around people she doesn’t know, it went as I expected. We went back to a class room and sat at this tiny table. First the teacher wanted her to stack blocks and Allison wanted to stack them her way not the teachers way. But she finally did it the teachers way.

Then she was asked to draw a line across the paper, she did. Then a few different shapes, perfect.

The next part is when all Allison’s sass came out (she has been really sassy lately) The teacher started asking Allison questions. She handed Allison a little car and asked what it was. After a few minutes Allison let out this big sigh as she put her hand up on her check with this very irritated  look! After what seemed like 5 minutes Allison says “Mommy I gotta pee.” So I took her to the bathroom and when we got back to the table the teacher asked her again what that item was. In a very quiet voice she says “car” Next teacher asked what color is is and she whispers “blue.”

Next came a ball, the teacher asked what is it and with that sassy look she said “NO” Every question after that was answered with a “NO”

The teacher stopped and said she has to stop the screening because they can only do so many refusals. Then she let Allison go play so we could talk. I asked her if  she thought Allison was not ready to go to pre school and she told me that Allison would really benefit going to pre school for two years. I kinda thought since she wouldn’t cooperate with the screening they wouldn’t let her go to school yet.

I need to hurry and finish the application and my baby girl with be in school this fall.

Baked My Day

Yesterday was Ryan’s first day of the OAA (Ohio Achievement Assessments). He had to do his language arts part yesterday and when he was finished I took him out for a treat.

A few months ago a new bakery called “Bake My Day” opened up and I have been dying to try it. Oh yes that cupcake was worth $2.50. I tell you, my mouth was in heaven!

Friday I took the kids to a fundraiser held by Cookies for iPads-giving children with Autism a voice. They are a wonderful group of ladies that has fundraisers, bakes sales and dinners. The money they raise they buy iPads to give to autistic children.  Their last fundraiser was at Chuck E. Cheese and my kids had a blast!

Another thing that has to be done this week is my lil Miss Allison has pre school screening Friday! She is really looking forward to going to school this fall.

I am really looking forward for this week to be over, it is going to be on busy week!
